Day 5

Day 5!!!  DISNEYLAND AND CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!!!  AMAZING!!!
Tram ride selfie #3!  More pictures of the cute props Brad puts up.

I had to zoom in on this picture because I don't know what David and Ben were doing.  Weirdies.

We should have used this one for our Christmas card.

We decided that today was "whatever you want day".  We were going to run around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to get in as much fun as we possibly could!  David was tired before it even started.

On our way to Carsland we ran into Princess Sofia the First!!!!!  So we just HAD to get a picture.
Sophia and Sofia.  So dang cute!

Tradition.

Best ride ever!!! Radiator Spring Racers.  Of course we had to go on it a couple more times.

Cute signs

Then we talked to Crush which is always really cool.  It's fun to see all the little kids so excited and all the parents trying to figure it out.  Then we split up.  The girls went on TOWER of TERROR!!! and the boys went and did some lame ride that wasn't Tower of Terror.

This are our Maori Warrior Faces.

Where did Sophie go?!?

I know...we rock.

Apparently they went on California Screamin', took some selfies, got a banana and watched the Green Army Soldiers perform.

Then we met up with the boys at the Grizzly Rapids and it was a perfect day for it.  Sophie got soaked!

Then off to Soarin'.  This time I took pictures of the Spirit of St. Louis.  They must change up they planes and pilots because I have always felt bad that Lindbergh and his plane were never recognized and now they are.  Very cool!

Mr. T. Claude Ryan.  The man behind the machine.

Then it was off to Disneyland.  The magic of Disneyland starts the second you walk through the gate and into Main Street USA.

As soon as we stepped in we saw Chip and Dale.  It was very cool to get BOTH of them.
Then right around the corner...where the Dapper Dan's!

 Pictures of us walking.

Quick trip to Splash Mountain where Shayne got drenched.

Then as promised the other day, the girls and I went to Pixie Hollow!  We saw Rosetta and TINK!  Sophie was actually taller than both of them!

Then we ran back up to the guys who were standing in line for the Buzz Lightyear again.

Then everyone ran over to Space Mountain and David and I went Christmas Shopping and back on BuzzLightyear.  We did NOT like the Halloween Space Mountain.  Way to scary!  I got my best score that round.  We got stuck on the ride at the best spot and I raked it in.

By this time Brad was off of work and met up with us for the grand finale'.  His masterpiece...MARVEL.
They had changed the World of Innovations building into a Marvel Comics building.  Kind of.  They are morphing it that way.  Right now they have an Ironman Suit on display and several behind glass.  It is amazing.

Then we went over to the Captain America section.  It had a lot of the props from the movie and a line of people that curved around the display.  But the line wasn't moving at all.  So Brad pulled out his badge and walked backstage to see what was going on.  I about passed out.  The kids thought that was the best part of the entire trip!  Brad came back a couple minutes later to tell us that they were changing out Captain's.  It was time for his break so the other one was coming in.  It was awesome.  Just then the line stared moving and we were taken back to meet...

Steve Rogers before and after the serum.  He goes from Sophie's size to Joel's.  Pretty cool.
CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!!

He signed David's autograph book and then we all got a big group picture.  It was fun.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than that Brad hurried us over to Thor's exhibit.  It was supposed to close but again he went back stage and told them that they needed to have one last group go through.  Brad was excited about this one.  He knew all of the actors.  Especially this Thor.  He was a friend of Brad's.  So we waited and waited and waited until they got done with the group they were on.  While we waited Brad pointed out all of the stuff that he needed to fix on the display.  The cases where being picked at and abused.  But the props inside of them were the real ones from the movie and were gorgeous!

Just then the doors opened and they let us into a small room that had more displays and they said something about Thor and Asgard but I wasn't really listening and I heard Brad say something to Joel about staying close to him and having Ben stay close to him as they moved to the back side of the room while I took pictures.

Then a magical door opened that was right by where Brad was standing and they told everyone to go through it.  Well Brad, Joel and the little boys went in followed by everyone else.  I made my way into the room and found them right at the foot of Thor's throne.  And there he was THOR!  Not quite as good as the real thing but pretty good none the less.  He welcomed everyone and said a bunch of stuff that to this day I still don't know what it was and then walked over to Ben and asked him if he though he was strong enough to lift his hammer.  AWESOME!

It was so incredible!  He joked around with us and signed David's book.  Brad is amazing!  Even if we went back 10 more times, we wouldn't have that same experience.  Thank you so much Brad!!!

I got a cute little picture with him too so we could Instagram it to my sisters.  It was funny.

After, Brad went home to is awesome wife and cuter than cute little boy Henry.  I know that working there must be tedious at times and monotonous.  But he just made incredible, eternal memories for our family that I will be forever grateful for.  I think this was the first week in 2 years that Ben and David hadn't fought.

It was nearly closing time, so we ran to Small World for one last ride.  These are Sophie's pictures of New Zealand and Australia.  She also took the pictures of the bushes shaped like animals.  Some of her favorite things.  Her souvenirs included Minnie's signature on a picture she drew herself  and her Mickey Selfie shirt.  Shayne bought herself a Mickey Graffiti hat along with other stuff.  It was a ton of fun.
Thanks again Brad!!!  We love you!
