Day Two - Sunday Oct 12th.
We thought it would be a fitting activity to go to the Mormon Battalion on the Sabbath and pay homage to my 4th great grandpa Captain Jefferson Hunt. He was the Captain on the A Unit that came all the way to San Diego and helped the city grow and develop.

The tour was really unique. It was an interactive movie with the battalion itself and it told of many of the experiences. It was quite amazing. At the end they had a small museum with artifacts that we thought were cool. Especially Sophie. She loved this flute.
Out in the back they had a place where you could pan for fools gold. It was neat
They also had a watch tower that you could look through. Sophie took this picture with her phone through the binoculars. It was pretty cool.
Then we ate some lunch and off to Brad we went! We had about an hour and a half and these where the picture that were taken...
We past by the Angel's Stadium. It was super cool! Next trip will include a game!
And everyone just played with Henry.
He's the cutest dang kid!!!
We stayed and visited for awhile then headed of for our final destination for the night...Matthew and Megan's house about 20 miles away. We told Brad and Ashley about our trip to the San Diego Temple and they told us to go see the one they go to and we hadn't ever heard of it. It was the Newport Beach Temple. So we went there before we headed to Hess'. It was GORGEOUS!
It was very Mediterranean. Which was different than the ones we usually see. I loved it.
